This is a one-of-a-kind reproduction of The Green Stripe by Henri Matisse, also known as Portrait of Madame Matisse, 1905, Copenhagen, Statens Museum for Kunst. The painting is oil on canvas board. The size of the board is 16x12 inches, which is as close to the 16x12 and 1/4 inch original canvas aspossible. During his Fauvism period, Matisse worked with broad impasto brushstrokes and the same have been applied here. The result is not an exact replica, but I have painted in the same order as the original, worked wet on wet where the original artist did and wet on dry the same.
